Welcome to Little Balanced Beings

At Little Balanced Beings, we help children, teens, young adults, and families slow down, reconnect, and grow through yoga, mindfulness, breathwork, and practices that nurture the whole self.

Together, we cultivate resilience, self-awareness, emotional balance, and meaningful connection—creating lifelong tools to support confidence, well-being, and a deeper connection to ourselves and one another.

Growing Mindful Hearts, Resilient Minds, and Balanced Bodies

Our Weekly Classes

Mindful Movement & Connection for Every Age

Our weekly classes provide a safe, supportive space where children of all ages can move, explore, and grow through yoga, mindfulness, breathwork, and creative play.

From energetic little ones discovering body awareness to pre-teens building confidence and emotional resilience, each class is thoughtfully designed to help children understand their emotions, connect with their bodies, develop healthy coping skills, and build a strong foundation for lifelong well-being.

Through movement, mindfulness, and meaningful connection, children learn tools that support self-awareness, confidence, regulation, and compassion—all while having fun and feeling supported in a welcoming, family-friendly environment.

Little Sprouts

Balanced Beings

Parent-Child Connection

Ages 6–8 | Building Foundations Through Play, Movement & Mindfulness

Designed for our youngest mindful beings, Little Sprouts introduces children to yoga, breathwork, and mindfulness through playful movement, imaginative storytelling, and creative exploration. Through fun, engaging activities, children begin developing body awareness, emotional expression, confidence, and healthy tools for navigating big feelings.

Ages 9–17 | Growing Self-Awareness, Resilience & Inner Balance

As children grow, their world expands—and so do the challenges they face. Balanced Beings provides age-appropriate yoga and mindfulness practices that support children and teens in building self-awareness, emotional regulation, body confidence, and resilience. Through mindful movement, breath awareness, meditation, and reflection, students develop tools to manage stress, improve focus, and reconnect with themselves.

Families | Strengthening Bonds Through Mindfulness & Presence

Connection is at the heart of every relationship. Parent & Child Connection classes and workshops create meaningful opportunities for families to slow down, reconnect, and grow together through yoga, mindfulness, breathwork, and intentional activities. Families learn practical tools that encourage communication, emotional awareness, compassion, and deeper connection both in and beyond the classes.

The Mind-Body Connection

Tools for Big Feelings, Stronger Connections, and Lifelong Resilience

Our bodies hold our experiences, emotions, and stories. Through trauma-informed yoga, mindful movement, breathwork, meditation, and nervous system-supporting practices, we help children, families, and individuals build a deeper connection between the mind and body.

We believe every person deserves to feel safe, seen, supported, and connected to their authentic self. By learning to recognize emotions, listen to the body, and respond with awareness, we cultivate resilience, confidence, self-regulation, and inner peace.

Whether you're joining us for a children's class, a family workshop, or a private healing session, you'll discover more than yoga—you'll gain practical tools to navigate life's challenges with greater presence, compassion, and connection.

Together, we are planting seeds of mindfulness today to nurture healthier, more connected generations tomorrow.

What Does Trauma-Informed Yoga Mean?

Trauma-informed yoga is not a different type of yoga—it is an approach to teaching yoga with greater awareness, compassion, and care. It means creating a supportive environment where participants are offered choices, encouraged to listen to their bodies, and empowered to practice in a way that feels safe and comfortable for them.

At Little Balanced Beings, trauma-informed principles guide the way we teach, allowing children, families, and individuals to experience yoga as a practice of connection, self-awareness, and growth.
